Burogloo were appointed by the client to take a planning permitted scheme from paper to completion as a design-and-build project. The project included the extensive redesign of the site to accommodate five residential units, meet the Code for Sustainable Homes, Secured by Design and insurance-backed guarantee accreditation, all whilst maximising the residential area and making the family dwellings both attractive and efficient. The project involves demolition of an existing office building and use of renewable energy sources for space and water heating.

We pride ourselves on our ability to find the right balance between site density, saleability and high quality living standards, offering schemes designed both to maximise returns and to create dwellings that are attractive and comfortable to inhabit.

Projects to date have included the conversion of a listed church into 14 flats, development of new-build multi-unit residential developments, wholesale residential and mixed use development of office and apartment buildings and redevelopment of private houses. In each case, we offer our clients ideas on how best to use the space, and exploit the site to best effect. Additionally Burogloo continues to work with private landlord clients to maximise their property portfolios and develop underused sites and buildings into commercially viable residential developments, frequently within central London conservation areas.

Whether working as project leader or alongside external project managers and other design and project professionals, Burogloo offers a fresh, forward thinking, practical approach and a reliable architectural service, tailored both to the client’s needs and project and site constraints.
